What is Green Cleaning?

Environmentally preferred products and services are defined by the Federal Government as "using products and services that reduce the health and environmental impacts compared to products and services used for the same purpose."

Systems & Equipment
Key components of the AHI Facility Services, Inc. program are the systems and equipment used in the day-to-day delivery of green services. Vacuums must be equipped with high performing filters, micro fiber cloths ensure the attraction of minute dust particles, and mixing systems take the guesswork and risk out of mixing chemicals. In addition to being environmentally friendly, AHI’s extensive experience with the "greening" of multiple facilities and campuses ensures that these systems and equipment are also rigorously field tested as to their efficiency and effectiveness.

LEED Certification
The AHI Facility Services, Inc. program can help those interested in pursuing LEED-EB certification, achieve nearly half of the points necessary for basic certification. When combined with AHI’s operations and maintenance capabilities, we are one of the few companies that can selfperform the scope of services necessary to help you achieve LEED-EB certification.
